Lesson Plan

Pre-Safety Flight Considerations:

Using the case study, students will discuss the phenomenon of situational awareness in the context of small unmanned aircraft systems flight and public safety. This introductory lesson will provide an opportunity for students to consider the surrounding environment and pre-flight criteria involved in remote flight operations. Students will work in groups to research differet pre-flight guidelines and regulations. Students will then share their information via a digital product and short presentation.
